Jake Lui

Keyboards, Vocals, Guitars

Jake Lui is a multi-instrumentalist from Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from the USC Thornton School of Music in 2018, he worked as a freelance musician in Los Angeles before moving back to Hawaii during the pandemic. He is now the Music Teacher at Pacific Buddhist Academy as well as a private guitar teacher and performer.

Marc Dexter

Rhythm and Lead Guitars, Vocals

Booking Manager

Marc started playing guitar as a teenager in the Detroit area, performing iconic hits of the 70s. After relocating to Hawaii in the early 1980s, Marc played extensively with multiple artists and groups on every major island. An admitted guitar gear head, he spends hours programming and customizing equipment to capture the tone and feel of each fan favorite iconic hit. Marc uses Gibson and PRS guitars, Friedman, and Synergy amplifiers, Neural Quad Cortex and Eventide effects to reproduce iconic guitar tones.

Nate Ng

Bass Guitar, Vocals

Nathan is an extremely versatile and
experienced bass player who has supported a wide variety of local and national acts
including The Drifters, A Touch of Gold, Hawaiian Soul, and Funk Vision. He is well-studied,
having been a jazz major at North Texas State University. Although fluent in many musical
styles, the sound of the 80’s holds a special appeal to Nathan. He uses Maruszczyk and
Sadowsky bass guitars.

Marcus Watts

Drums, Vocals

Marcus "Wiz" Watts has been locking down the beat performing and producing on stage since 1974. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, as a youth, Marc cut his teeth on the Rock and R&B club circuit in the mid-seventies as a founding member of ‘Morning Maniac’. "I feel fortunate to have met and worked with countless talented musicians and vocalists, both at home in the U.S., and across the Pacific and southeast Asia.
‘Wiz’ has performed the gamut of musical styles, from classic heavy metal and progressive rock to contemporary and fusion jazz, and of course, classic soul, R&B, and funk!.
